작은 눈덩이의 꿈

DREAM OF THE LITTLE SNOWBALL

홍익대학교에서 산업디자인을 공부하다가 미국으로 건너가 캘리포니아 주 패서디나의 아트 센터 칼리지 오브 디자인에서 엔터테인먼트 디자인을 공부했다. 현재 산타모니카에 살며 영화와 광고 비주얼의 콘셉트 디자이너로 일하고 있다. 일하면서 스토리 제작과 그림 그리기에 재미를 느끼다가 스토리와 그림이 절묘하게 만나는 그림책의 매력에 빠지게 되었다. 어린 시절의 기억이 그림을 만드는 원동력이며, 1년 반 동안 작은 눈덩이의 꿈을 준비하여 첫 그림책으로 선보이게 됐다.

I am working in an eight VFX as a concept designer focusing on commercial, TV show and movie. My main role at here is visualizing a given story and concept from our clients. After working couple of years I was fascinated by creating story. I find out making a picture book can do both such as making story and image together. So I spent one year and half making Dream of the little snowball and finally came out on 2016 winter. I hope this book can make people smile.
